Frequently asked questions
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We will discuss your concerns, relevant background information, your goals for therapy, and how counseling may help. It is also a chance for you to ask questions and determine whether you feel comfortable with the therapeutic process.
The number of sessions varies from person to person and depends on the nature of your concerns, therapeutic goals, and progress throughout the counseling process. During the first session, we will gain an initial understanding of your concerns, current difficulties, and treatment needs. Based on this assessment, an estimated treatment plan, including the recommended frequency and approximate number of sessions, will be discussed with you. However, this may be reviewed and adjusted over time depending on your progress and evolving needs. Some individuals benefit from short-term counseling focused on specific concerns, while others may require longer-term therapeutic support to address more complex or longstanding difficulties.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please inform the clinic at least 12 hours prior to your scheduled session or at the time you receive the appointment confirmation message, whichever is earlier. Clients may receive a reminder or confirmation message prior to their scheduled session. Once a client confirms their attendance, the appointment slot is reserved exclusively for them.Cancellations made after confirming the appointment, as well as missed appointments (No-Shows), will be subject to 100% of the session fee in accordance with our Cancellation Policy. We encourage clients to notify the clinic promptly if they need to reschedule so that the appointment slot may be made available to others.
