At Mind Health Clinic, we are committed to fostering the growth of future mental health professionals through meaningful learning experiences, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

While we are not currently recruiting psychologists for employment positions, we offer internship and supervision opportunities for psychology students and aspiring practitioners who are eager to expand their knowledge, develop practical skills, and gain exposure to the field of mental health.

Psychology Internship Program

Eligibility: 
  We welcome applications from:
  • Third-year Bachelor's students in Psychology

  • Master's students in Psychology

 
What You Will Learn:

Our internship program is designed to bridge academic learning with practical understanding. Interns will have the opportunity to explore and learn about:

  • Psychological theories and concepts

  • Foundations and approaches to psychotherapy

  • Therapeutic skills and techniques

  • Case conceptualization and treatment planning

  • Ethical and professional practice

  • Communication and helping skills

  • Mental health awareness and psychoeducation

  • Professional development within the field of psychology

 

In addition to academic and therapeutic learning, interns may also gain experience in:

  • Assisting with and conducting webinars

  • Creating psychoeducational content

  • Writing blogs and mental health articles

  • Developing educational resources

  • Understanding digital mental health outreach

  • Exposure to professional social media communication and awareness campaigns

 

The internship is designed to provide a well-rounded understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of psychology while encouraging professional growth and creativity.

 

Supervision Program

We also offer professional supervision opportunities for psychology students, trainees, and early-career practitioners who wish to enhance their therapeutic skills through guided mentorship.

 

The supervision process focuses on:

  • Case discussions and formulation

  • Application of therapeutic techniques

  • Ethical decision-making

  • Developing clinical reasoning and professional judgment

  • Reflective practice and self-awareness as a therapist

  • Building confidence and competence in therapeutic work

 
Eligibility Requirement:

 

Applicants seeking supervision must have access to their own clients. Mind Health Clinic does not provide client referrals as part of the supervision program.

Supervision is intended to support practitioners in their ongoing learning journey by providing structured guidance, professional feedback, and opportunities to enhance skills within a supportive environment.

 

Certification:

Participants who successfully complete the internship or supervision program will be awarded a Certificate of Completion from Mid Health Clinic, recognizing their commitment to professional learning and development.
