Exam season has never been simple. It can be challenging to cope with the pressure from classmates and parents.

While some claim that a certain amount of anxiety and stress is necessary to maintain the pressure to prepare for exams, but persistent anxiety and stress can result in unpleasant situations. Therefore, it's critical to maintain composure and accomplish goals in a highly competitive environment.

Here are 7 suggestions to reduce exam stress and study without interruptions.

1. Plan your Study

Set SMART Goals:

  • Specific- What are you going to do?

  • Measurable- how will you know you've done it?

  • Achievable- Be kind to yourself. Is it Realistic?

  • Relevant- Choose a goal that matters

  • Timely- give yourself a Deadline


2. Take Discipline Action

  • Act on your Plan

  • Follow your Schedule

  • Review your progress

  • You are wasting your time if you do not stick to your plan & Schedule

  • Chances are that you are doing other unimportant tasks


3. Improving Concentration

  • Sit at the same place at the same time for study, so your mind is tuned to the environment

  • Put off all distractions

  • tell your family members about your study time, so they too do not disturb you

  • Postpone any calls from your friends or neighbors


4. Do the difficult Subject First

  • Start with the most difficult subject first

  • Avoid postponing the unpleasant task

  • Ask for help, from your friends, and teachers

  • Refer to the additional reference other than your notes.


5. Take the Right Amount of Rest

  • During the study, time take small breaks and do the concentration exercises

  • Take the right amount of sleep every day

  • Especially during Exam days do not skip sleep as it will make you lethargic and dull

  • Relax your mind

  • Take a break- Go out

  • Do what you like and Love
